Celle is located in Lower Saxony, Germany with a population of ca. 70,000 people. The town lies on the banks of the river Aller and is the southern gateway to the Lüneburg Heath. The castle and the picturesque old town centre with over 400 timber-framed houses, make Celle one of the most remarkable towns on the German “timber-framed” road.
Celle has a rich cultural programme, including various museums covering everything from regional history, architecture and modern art. Plays and concerts can also be found: whether on the stage of the castle’s small theatre, the oldest in Europe, or on the larger stages in the Congress Union or the CD Kaserne. A perfect mix for Vespa drivers of all generations.
